How is the NUMS Entry Test aggregate calculated?
The official formula gives 10% weight to matric, 40% to FSc and 50% to the NUMS Entry Test:
Aggregate % = (Matric marks ÷ 1200) × 10 + (FSc marks ÷ 1200) × 40 + (NUMS Entry Test score ÷ 200) × 50
Worked example
- Matric: 1104/1200 → (1104 ÷ 1200) × 10 = 9.20
- FSc: 1056/1200 → (1056 ÷ 1200) × 40 = 35.20
- NUMS Entry Test: 160/200 → (160 ÷ 200) × 50 = 40.00
- Total aggregate = 84.40%
