How is GPA calculated at VTU?
Visvesvaraya Technological University uses the UGC CBCS 10-Point Scale (maximum 10.00). Each grade carries quality points. Your GPA is the credit-weighted average:
GPA = Σ (grade points × credit hours) ÷ Σ credit hours

- Course 3: grade B (3.00) × 2 credit hours = 6.00 quality points
