How do you calculate the percentage of marks?
The formula is the same for every board and every total:
Percentage = (Obtained marks ÷ Total marks) × 100
Worked example
- 934 out of 1100 → (934 ÷ 1100) × 100 = 84.91% (Grade A+)
- 612 out of 850 → (612 ÷ 850) × 100 = 72.00% (Grade A)
