Frequently Asked Questions

Which Hindi keyboard does this test support?

All of them - Inscript, Mangal, Remington and phonetic input all work, because the test checks the final Devanagari text, not your keyboard.

What speed does CPCT require?

CPCT commonly requires 20 words per minute in Hindi and 30 in English for typing posts, but requirements change - always check the current official notification.

Is Kruti Dev typing the same as Mangal?

No. Kruti Dev is a Remington-layout legacy font, Mangal is Unicode with the Inscript layout. Many exams have moved to Unicode Mangal - check which one your exam uses.

Can I practice on my phone?

Yes - add the Hindi keyboard in Gboard and practice anywhere. For Inscript exam practice, a computer keyboard is closer to the real exam.
