SSC GPA Calculator — Bangladesh
Calculate your Bangladesh SSC GPA exactly the way education boards do: each subject's letter grade carries points (A+ = 5.00), your optional 4th subject adds only its points above 2, and the total is divided by your main subjects. Enter your grades below.

How is the SSC GPA calculated in Bangladesh?
Each letter grade carries grade points. Your GPA is:
GPA = (main subject points + 4th subject points above 2) ÷ number of main subjects
Worked example
- 7 main subjects: A+, A+, A+, A, A, A-, A+ → 5+5+5+4+4+3.5+5 = 31.5 points
- 4th subject A+ (5.00) → adds 5 − 2 = 3 points
- GPA = (31.5 + 3) ÷ 7 = 4.93 → GPA 4.93
An F in any main subject makes the whole GPA 0.00 (fail). GPA is capped at 5.00.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is GPA calculated with the 4th subject in SSC?
Only the points ABOVE 2 from your 4th subject are added to your total before dividing by the number of main subjects. A+ (5.00) in the 4th subject adds 3 points.
What is Golden A+ in SSC?
Golden A+ (golden GPA 5) means you scored A+ in every subject including the 4th subject — not just an overall GPA of 5.00.
What happens if I fail one subject?
An F in any main subject makes the entire result a fail with GPA 0.00, regardless of other grades.

Does the 4th subject reduce my GPA if I do badly?
No. Grades of 2.00 or below in the 4th subject simply add nothing — the 4th subject can only help, never hurt.
