How is the Combined Marks aggregate calculated?
The official formula gives 50% weight to matric, 50% to FSc:
Aggregate % = (Matric marks ÷ 1100) × 50 + (FSc marks ÷ 1200) × 50
Worked example
- Matric: 1012/1100 → (1012 ÷ 1100) × 50 = 46.00
- FSc: 1056/1200 → (1056 ÷ 1200) × 50 = 44.00
- Total aggregate = 90.00%
Different universities use different splits (50/50 is common). Check your university prospectus and adjust totals to your board.
