The exact steps can differ by degree level and admission cycle.
Step 1: Check the Admission Announcement
Visit https://www.nu.edu.pk/ and look for the latest admissions announcement.
Check the application opening date, closing date, available programs, and campuses accepting applications.
Step 2: Review the Eligibility Criteria
Read the eligibility requirements for your selected degree. These may include previous academic qualifications, subject requirements, minimum marks, and other conditions.
Requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions are not necessarily the same.
Step 3: Complete the Online Application
Use the official admission portal linked from the university website. Enter your personal and academic information carefully and select the relevant program and campus.
Follow the current instructions for uploading documents and paying any application or test fee.
Step 4: Prepare for the Admission Test
If your selected program requires an admission test, review the official test pattern and syllabus.
Focus your preparation on the subjects and question types listed in the current admission instructions. Do not rely only on old test patterns or previous admission announcements.
Step 5: Check Your Admission Status
Follow the university’s official instructions to check your application status, selection results, and any merit-related updates.
If you receive an offer, read the fee payment deadline and document submission requirements carefully.
FAST National University Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility depends on the degree you want to study and the rules for the relevant admission cycle.
For undergraduate programs, applicants may need to meet requirements related to intermediate education or an accepted equivalent qualification. Specific subjects and minimum marks can vary by program.
Postgraduate applicants may need a relevant bachelor’s degree, a minimum academic record, and other requirements set by the university.
Before applying, confirm:
- Required previous qualification
- Accepted educational boards or equivalent qualifications

Use the current official admission notice to verify these details. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee admission.
FAST National University Fee Structure
The FAST National University fee structure is an important factor for students and parents planning university expenses.
The total cost may include tuition fees, admission charges, security deposits, registration charges, and other applicable expenses. The amount payable can also depend on the program, credit hours, and current university policy.
How to Check the FAST Karachi Fee Structure

- Find the latest fee schedule or prospectus.
